Who are Lush and Lando?

I’m a Communications Engineer for a global communications manufacturer headquartered in New Zealand, based in the Brisbane office, and I’ve recently taken up 3D printing as a hobby.

My wife and I are proud owners of two golden retrievers, Lush and Lando. My love for dogs began early and has grown into a life shaped around their care, training and companionship. I share my days between work, outdoor adventures and creating a safe, joyful home for my pair.

Lush, the elder of the two, is Lando’s grandmother. She brings a calm, steady presence to the household — patient, affectionate and quietly wise. Lush’s temperament is gentle and mellow; she loves slow walks, soft pats and watching the world with a contented curiosity.

Lando is lively and eager, carrying the youthful energy and playful spirit typical of the breed. With a bright curiosity and an affectionate nature, he’s always keen for games, training sessions and new experiences. Lando looks to Lush often, learning from her composed way of navigating the world.

Both Lush and Lando come from Olivashe Golden Retrievers, a reputable and an amazing breeder based near Toowoomba. Their lineage reflects careful breeding for health, temperament and the classic golden retriever qualities: friendliness, intelligence and a strong desire to be part of the family.

Together we enjoy bush walks, swimming when the weather allows, and the simple comforts of home life. They both also love dog sniff sports, eagerly tracking scents and enjoying the mental stimulation of scentwork games. I prioritise their health and wellbeing through regular vet care, balanced nutrition and positive reinforcement training. Lush and Lando aren’t just pets — they’re family, companions and the heart of my days.
